About Bill Harrison
Bill was raised and educated on the East Coast and worked a good portion of his adult life as an advertising Art Director/Designer in New York and New Jersey. While working in the world of advertising, many opportunities afforded him to work on national and international accounts that produced awards for design excellence and creativity in a variety of categories. During the same time… he also had a passion for creating fine art and his background in art and design opened the door for producing art for sale in art galleries and art venues.
His work is produced in four mediums… pastel, oil, acrylic, and sculpture, offering a broad range of subjects - from impressionistic to fine detail to abstract. Different types of sculpture are created in Wildlife, Metal, Wood, and Mixed-Media. After much consideration, he decided to make a major change in 1978. He moved to Seattle and continued his dual career in advertising/marketing and fine art until he retired in 1999. He now works full time doing what he enjoys most, producing unique art for sale in art galleries and art shows throughout the Northwest. |
